This temple is at Kunnathunad, Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district. The Goddess was previously worshipped by the eldest member of the Mecheril family. Then the local devotees took over the management. The temple is open on all Fridays and on the days of star Pooyam, Aayilyam and Makam. Worship of the serpents is conducted on all Aayilyam days. Makam in the month of Kumbham, celebrated at Chottanikkara with great fervour, is celebrated in this temple as also as Thalapoli for three days.  Ramayana recital for one month, Poojaveppu and festivals like Onam and Vishu are also celebrated. Offering ghee lamp is one of the most important more offerings here.
