Sree Vasavi Kannika Parameshwari Temple,
located in Tali, Kozhikode, is a comparatively modern place of worship and
differs from the area's ancient temples, such as the renowned Tali Siva
Temple. The Arya Vysya community established the temple and reflects
their religious and cultural identity. The temple’s history dates back to 1927,
following the formation of the Malleswaram Arya Vysya Sangha (MAVS).
Subsequently, in 1929, the temple was constructed on land granted by the City
Improvement Trust, marking an important milestone for the community in Kozhikode.
