This ancient Bhagavathy temple is situated at Edappally in Ernakulam and is very close to the Edappally railway station and the Amruta Institute of Medical Sciences. This is believed to be the temple consecrated just after the one at Kodungalloor. The main deity is the mild form of Bhadrakali, facing the west. The idol is made of jackfruit wood. Chanthaatt is an important ritual during the festival here. Today it is under the Ponekkara NSS Karayogam No. 3810.
