It is located along the
Anchal–Kulathupuzha road at Yeroor in the Kollam district of Kerala. The
presiding deity is Lord Maha Narasimha Swamy, represented by a five-foot-tall
Chaturbahu idol with four arms. The deity is enshrined in a circular sreekovil
and faces west, adding to the temple’s distinctive spiritual and architectural
character. Thrikoyikkal Sree Maha Narasimha Swamy Temple is believed to have
had its Prathishta (consecration) performed by Brahmins from Malabar. The
temple underwent major renovation during the reign of Sree Moolam Thirunal
Maharaja.
