Kallattupuzha Siva Temple is
located at Muttichur, about 25 km south of Thrissur, near Kanhani. The
presiding deity, Lord Siva, is believed to be Swayambhoo (self-manifested), and
the temple uniquely faces west. It is a well-known Siva temple in the Muttichur
region, close to Thalikulam and Anthikkad panchayats, and situated opposite the
Canoli Canal, amidst serene natural surroundings. The temple follows
traditional rituals under the Tantric lineage of Thamarappally Vadakkedam.
Two poojas are conducted daily. Sivarathri is observed with special importance,
and Dhara is a significant offering made by devotees.
