Arayasseril Dharmasastha Temple is situated in Nadakkavu, Udayamperoor, in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Ayyappa, and in front of the Sreekovil stands the prathishta of Bhadrakali. A unique aspect of the temple is that the main offering is not made to Lord Ayyappa but to Karim Kutty Chathan, with the special offering known as Mesha Vaypu. This ritual attracts a large number of devotees and is performed in the evening, after the main temple closes, around 7:30 PM.
