Kadachira Sree Thrikkapalam Siva Temple is an ancient and revered temple dedicated to Lord Siva, situated on the banks of the Anjarakandi River at Peralassery in the Kannur district of Kerala. The temple is especially known as the abode of Lord Dakshinamoorthy, the manifestation of Siva as the supreme guru and source of all knowledge. A distinctive feature of this temple is the presence of two equally important Dakshinamoorthy idols, each housed in a separate sanctum sanctorum and both facing east, an uncommon architectural and spiritual aspect. According to local tradition, the idol was installed by Sage Parasurama, and the temple is one of
more the 108 Siva temples in Kerala. It is also one of the three Thrikkapaleeswaram temples mentioned in the 108 Siva Temples Sthothram.
