Thelliyoorkkavu Bhagavathy Temple, located in Thelliyoor village of Pathanamthitta district, is dedicated
to Goddess Bhadrakali. Managed by the Travancore Devaswom Board, the temple is
renowned for its vibrant Padayani festival held in the month of Kumbham and the
unique Vrischikam Vanibham (market). Situated amidst forest surroundings, the
goddess is also worshipped as Vanadurga, and the shreekovil features an open
roof, a distinctive characteristic found in only a few temples.
