Chengalathu Kaavu Devi Temple, located in Kumaranallur, Kottayam district, is a small yet prominent village temple dedicated to the Goddess. The temple has a spacious ground with a large banyan tree at the entrance and a stage for events. A small office is situated on the left side of the temple, and the premises also include a rubber plantation. The temple has three gates opening to the ground: the main large gate that can accommodate a bus, a medium-sized gate suitable for cars and smaller vehicles, and a narrow pedestrian-only gate. more peaceful village temple.
