This temple is at Karuvelil
and Chittar wards of Ezhukon Grama Panchayath in Kollam district. The temple
was originally connected to the Chittakodu Pailampatt Yogeswara Devi temple. It is
believed to be more than a hundred years old. Sree Narayana Guru Devan has
visited this temple. The temple was
renovated in 2014. The annual festival is for ten days in the month of Kumbham, and other special celebrations include the consecration day and the conduct of
Sapthaham.
