This temple is located in Aanikkad, Chengalam East Village, Akalakunnam Panchayath, Kottayam District. It can
be reached by travelling 8km from Cherpunkal on the Kozhuvanal – Mainkandam road.
The temple is more than 800 years old. There is an annual ceremonial procession
to the Anikkad Sree Sathyanatha Dhanwanthari temple. It is known as Oushada Thalapoli, and participating in it is considered beneficial for relief from diseases, the welfare of the family, prosperity, and wealth. Many lectures on spiritual
matters, discussions, Sapthaham and celebration of Navarathri are important in
this temple.
