The Sree Kadambanakulangara
Devi Temple is located at Pallippuram, Cherthala, in the Alappuzha district. It
is dedicated to Devi (Goddess), who is worshipped in her fierce and protective
form. The temple is very ancient, though there are no records to show its age.
It is well known for its serene ambience and traditional Kerala temple
architecture. Previously, the temple belonged to the famous Azhvanchery mana.
Now it is run by a committee of devotees. But the practice of getting a letter
of consent from the Mana before festivals is continued.
