Nattika Hanuman Swamy Temple

History

Hanuman Swami Temple, located in Nattika, Thrissur, is a renowned shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Established in 1939 by Sree Chandranantha Guru with the blessings of Paradesi Guru Sree Madhavananda, the temple has since become a major spiritual centre attracting devotees from across India. The temple is famous for its magnificent 5.5-foot panchaloha idol of Lord Hanuman, the largest of its kind, depicting Him flying to Lord Rama while carrying the herb-bearing mountain in His left hand and a golden mace in His right. The temple also houses the Navagrahas in front of Lord Hanuman, a unique feature in Kerala temples, and offers special poojas for Navagraha more doshas. Along with Lord Hanuman, deities such as Lord Mahavishnumaya, Devi Bhagavathi, Ganapathy, Subramanya, Ayyappa, Parvathi, Mahalakshmi, and Saraswathi are also worshipped here. The temple radiates a distinct divine aura, offering devotees deep spiritual peace and fulfilment.
