Sree Udaneshwara Temple, located in Badiyadka and also known as Perdala Temple, is one of the ancient and renowned temples in Kasaragod district dedicated to Lord Udaneshwara Swamy. It stands as a major pilgrimage centre in the region. The temple faces east, with the sacred Varada River flowing northward in front of it. The sanctum sanctorum of Lord Udaneshwara is guarded by Dwarapalakas on both sides, and in front lies the beautifully crafted Namaskara Mantapa, featuring intricate wooden carvings depicting various episodes from Hindu mythology.
