Vaikkilassery Theru Ganapathy
Temple in Kozhikode is an ancient and historically significant temple, believed
to be several centuries old. Nestled in the Malabar region, the temple stands
out for its traditional Kerala-style architecture and cultural heritage. It
features a two-tiered rectangular sanctum sanctorum with a tiled roof,
reflecting the timeless craftsmanship of Kerala temple design. The temple is
also said to have a spiritual connection with the renowned Iringannur Shiva
Temple, and it is believed that the village’s name itself may have originated
from the presiding deity.
