This temple is situated at
North Kumbalangi in Kochi. This small, beautiful temple is dedicated to
Bhuvaneswari Devi. Bhadrakali is also consecrated here. Nagas are also
consecrated as subordinate deities. The temple is more than a hundred years
old. Originally, it was a kavu and some local people used to light a lamp and
worship there in the evening. After about twenty years, a man named Bhagavathy
Velu took the initiative to build the temple. The annual festival is in the
month of January.
