Sree Dharmasastha Temple at YMR Nanthancodu, Thiruvananthapuram, is a centuries-old shrine with deep historical and cultural significance. It is one of the three temples in Thiruvananthapuram managed by the NSS Thiruvananthapuram Taluk Karayoga Union. The presiding deity is Sree Dharma Sastha, and the temple is also renowned for its unique idol of Lord Dhanwanthari, who is depicted holding the sacred Neelathamara. Along with Dharma Sastha, the temple enshrines several other deities, including Lord Ganesha, Lord Siva, Lord Maha Vishnu, Goddess Durga, Lord Subramanya, Lord Hanuman, the Navagrahas, serpent gods, and Brahmarakshas. Tradition holds that the temple was established by a Brahmin nobleman from Paduthol Mana, popularly known as
more "Valiya Thycaud," who hailed from Mukundapuram. The construction of the temple is believed to have been carried out with the patronage and support of the Travancore royal family.
