This temple is located at Perumthuruthy, near Kallara, in the Kottayam district. About two centuries ago, it was the family deity of the Edamana family. The Lord was consecrated under a tree without a temple. The eldest member of the family who was also the commander-in-chief of the Thekkumkoor army, destroyed the idol of the Lord by shooting at it.
