This temple is located in Panickankud, Idukki
district. There are many other Siva temples in this district as well. It was built
20 years ago. The original inhabitants of the area had been worshipping
Muthappan and Muthi. The two idols somehow got submerged in water. Twenty
years ago, these were recovered from the waterfall. They were taken over by the
SNDP, and the SN Trust is managing the temple today.
