Koodali Mahaganapathi Temple,
located in the serene village of Koodali in Kannur district, is believed to be
several centuries old and was once patronised by royal families and local
landlords. Dedicated to Lord Mahaganapathi, the temple is built in the
traditional Kerala style with a sloping tiled roof, chuttambalam (covered
corridor), flagpole, and deepastambham (lamp pillar). Though simple in
structure, the temple radiates a profound spiritual aura, enhanced by its
elegant Kerala-style carvings.
