Kalleli Sastha Temple, also
known as Kallerikavu, is situated in the Varantharappilly village of Thrissur
district, Kerala. Dedicated to Lord Sastha, who faces east, it is revered as
one of the 108 Ayyappa temples in Kerala. The temple is under the ownership of
Mupliyam Pidikaparambu Mana, and Lord Ganapathy is worshipped here as the
principal Upa Devata (sub-deity). Kalleli Sastha Temple is also a proud
participant in the famous annual Arattupuzha Pooram, a grand cultural and
religious festival of the region.
