This temple is at Pakalomattam
near Meenachil in Kottayam district. Lord Parameswara and Subrahmanyan are the
main deities consecrated here. It is believed that the Devi temple is around
2000 years old. Sree Narayana Guru performed the consecration here. Ganapathy,
Sasthavu, Devi, sarppam, Mahadevan and rakshas are the subordinate deities.
Sivarathri, Thaipooyam, and the annual festival in Makaram (February – March) are celebrated with fervour.
