Mangad Devi Temple

History

The Mangad Devi Temple is in Kunnamkulam, Thrissur district. It is an ancient temple with a rich history, dedicated to the Devi Bhagavathy. It is considered one of the oldest temples in the region. The main celebrations are on the day of Kumbha Bharani, and for the Kuthira Vela festival held here, located near Vettikadavu field. Lord Ayyappa is consecrated as the subordinate deity.
