Located near the Punkunnam Railway Station in the northwestern part of Thrissur, Kerala's cultural capital, the Kuttankulangara Sree Mahavishnu Temple is a serene and sacred place of worship. Although believed to be around 700 years old, the temple gained prominence only about four decades ago. The main deity of the temple is Lord Sree Mahavishnu. Alongside, the temple also enshrines Goddess Bhagavathy and Lord Vinayaka, offering devotees a holistic spiritual experience. A sacred serpent grove (Sarpakavu) is also situated in one corner of the temple grounds, adding to its spiritual ambience. Over time, the temple has grown in significance, attracting not only local devotees but also
more worshippers from distant places who come to seek the divine blessings of Lord Sree Mahavishnu and Goddess Bhagavathy.
