This temple is at a distance
of 1km from Aryanad junction in Thiruvananthapuram. It is on the banks of the Karamana River. The
antiquity of the temple has not been calculated. The main deity is Lord Siva as
a self-originated lingam. It is one of the oldest temples in Thiruvananthapuram
and one of the few that have self-originating idols. The temple is round.
