This temple is also known as
Kaattambakk Kizhakkumbhagam Pattupurakkal Bhagavathy temple. It is believed to have been constructed in
the 10th century. It is situated at
Neezhoor village in Kottayam district. It is at a distance of 6km and 11 km
respectively from Kuravilangad and Katuthuruthy. The main deity consecrated is Goddess Bhadrakali.
Lighting Naranga vilakk and Ney vilakku is a significant offering here,
especially on Tuesdays and Fridays. The temple was renovated in 2016. NSS
Karayogam No.336 manages the temple.
