This temple is at Aattupuram, Padinjare Vemballur in Thrissur district. The temple is 22 years old. A boy got a Krishna idol that had been washed ashore from the sea. When he informed the local people about it, they asked him to throw it back into the sea. But it came ashore again. Then, the local people arranged an astrological consultation, and it was revealed that the idol had been used by Sanyasis 500 years ago when they were performing penance at that place. As the effulgence was still there, according to the astrologer, the local people collected money to buy the land
more and build a small temple and consecrate the idol there. Now it is managed by a trust named Sreekrishnamugham Samajam Trust with 75 members.
