Karuvanthala Bhagavathy Temple is situated near Enamavu (also known as Enamakkal) in the Thrissur district of Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, who is worshipped here in a fierce and protective form. The deity faces west and is venerated as Jala Drishti, symbolising her watchful gaze over the surrounding waters and land. The temple is traditionally owned by Kanippayyur Mana, a prominent Namboothiri family. Its administration is jointly managed by the mana and a committee of local villagers, reflecting a harmonious blend of heritage and community participation in the temple's upkeep and rituals.
