This famous Bhagavathy temple is at Olarikkara, 4 km away from Thrissur. It is situated in a vast land of great natural beauty. It is near Ayanthole, where the collectorate and some famous hospitals are situated. The sanctum faces east. The Goddess, with the attributes of Lakshmi and Saraswathy, is also called Kalimatha.
