Kulathoor Kolathukara Siva
Temple is a historically significant shrine located near Kesavadasapuram in
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, where a
sacred Shivalinga is the central deity of worship. The Pratishta (consecration) of
the Sivling was performed by the revered social reformer and spiritual leader
Sree Narayana Guru on the 13th day of Meenam month in the year 1068 of the
Malayalam calendar (Kollavarsham). Historical accounts suggest that Sree
Narayana Guru frequently visited Kulathoor, underlining the temple’s spiritual
and cultural importance.
