This temple is on NSS VHS School, Mundathicode –
Medical College Road, Thangaloor, Mundathikode in Thrissur district. It is believed to be more than 500 years old.
The temple is under the Kochi Devaswom Board. According to legends, a woman
named Prathini was cutting grass when her sickle rubbed against a rock and
blood started oozing out. On astrological consultation, it was found that the
effulgence of the Goddess was present on that stone. So, a temple was built
there.
