This temple is in Panavally near Cherthala in the Alappuzha district. The sanctum is square and faces the west.
The temple has all the structures of a typical Kerala temple, like Anakottil,
Kodimaram, Nalambalam, Namaskara mandapam, pond and shrines for subordinate
deities. The festival involves many special Tantric rituals. Ada puzhungal and
Thiri pidutham are some of the unique rituals performed here. The Kalamkari ritual performed during the
festival of this temple is very famous.
