This temple is at Muthuvara in Adatt village of Thrissur district. It is one of the famous 108 Siva temples consecrated by Lord Parasurama. Lord Siva is consecrated in the angry form after the death of Sathy devi. The power of this Lord Siva was so great that Lord Vishnu was also consecrated to control it. Lord Vishnu in the mild form after blessing Prahlada is consecrated. The idol of Mahavishnu is with four arms. Both Sancta is square, double-storied and faces the west.
