Shankaramangalam Sree Bhagavathy Temple is at Vadanapally in Thrissur district. Bhagavathy is the main deity consecrated here. Nagas are consecrated as the subordinate deity. Here, Ayilya pooja and Yakshi puja are performed. Pathaamudayam in the month of Dhanu, days of star Aswathy and Bharani in the months of Makaram and Kumbham are special days celebrated in this temple. The consecration day is celebrated in the month of Edavam. Navarathri and the month of Karkidakam are observed with various rituals. Muttarukkal is an important offering performed here.
