This temple is at Thrichattukulam in the Alappuzha
district. It is more than 300 years old. The Ooramana Namboothiri family of Vaikom had been worshipping Goddess Bhadrakali in a thatched temple structure. Later, when it became difficult for them to travel to this place, the temple was handed over to the Chelath family about 150 years back. They built the temple structure. Goddess Bhadrakal is the presiding deity. The sanctum faces the west, which is very rarely seen in Devi temples in Kerala. Meena Bharani and the Mandalam
are the main celebrations here.
