This temple is at Hemambika
Nagar in the Railway Colony at Kallekulangara in Palakkad. It was established
about 60 years ago. When a Railway Division was established there, the
employees wanted a place to worship Lord Ayyappa during the Mandala Puja. So,
they started lighting a lamp before a photo of Lord Ayaappa in a house. Later
Smt.Lakshmikutty Amma gave land for the construction of a Bhajana Madom. A
Panchaloha idol of Lord Ayyappa, like the one consecrated at Sabarimala was
consecrated in the Bhajana Madom built in that land. Now celebrations are held
every month on Star Uthram and during the Mandala and Makara Vilakku
