Located in Edappally North, Ernakulam district, Sree Subrahmanya Swamy Temple has a history rooted in devotion and community worship. Over a century ago, the Nair families of the region established a Bhajana Madom (prayer hall), where they placed a Vel (the divine weapon of Lord Subrahmanya) and a sacred cane representing the deity for worship and bhajans. In 1985, the Bhajana Madom was transformed into a temple, marking a significant step in its evolution. A complete renovation was undertaken in 2000, leading to the construction of the present-day temple. The temple is managed by the NSS Karayogam. The temple’s annual festival takes place between January and February.
