Situated in Eloor North, an
industrial hub in Ernakulam district, Pattupurakkal Devi Temple is dedicated to
Goddess Bhadrakali, enshrined as the main deity facing north. The temple has a history of over a century and holds deep cultural and spiritual
significance. It is managed under the Travancore Devaswom Board. One of the
temple's major rituals is Kalamezhuthum Paattum, which is observed for 41 days
starting from the 1st of Vrischikam (mid-November). The Thalapoli festival is
celebrated in Grand Splendor, concluding on the final day of the Mandala period
in December.
