Sree Koprathu Durga Devi Temple

History

This temple is on Kottayam – Kumily road in Kottayam district. It is more than 100 years old. The Goddess is consecrated as Vanadurga.  The original place of this temple is the Kollatu Malamelkavu temple. Mahadeva, Shasthavu, Bhadrakali, Yakshi Brahmarakshass and Serpents are consecrated as subordinate deities.
