This temple is at Thuruthusserry, near Nedumbassery in Ernakulam district, close to the Cochin International Airport. Self - originated Lord Vishnu with conch, Discuss, mace and lotus in hand faces the west. There is also the Devi temple named Keezhetam in the same premises. Siva, Vanadurga, Bhadrakali and Dharma Shastha are consecrated as subordinate deities on the same platform in the Devi temple. According to legends the temple is 500 years old. It is said that a Brahmin worshipped Lord Vishnu for begetting progeny and was blessed by the Lord. That brahmin started taking Active interest in the running of this temple. more consecutive Thursdays is believed to bless the devotee with progeny.
