This is the ancestral temple
of the Poonjaar Royal family. The Kunnonni hills surround it. The
temple has 18 steps leading to the sanctum. The Lord is consecrated with a Nagamanikyam in his hand. This is also the only temple after Sabarimala
where the Thazhamon Thanthrikal performs the Padi pooja.
