Pottoor Sree Maha Vishnu Temple

History

This temple is at Moothur in Palakkad district. Lord Vishnu in Koorma Avathar is consecrated here. It originally belonged to a Nair family. When the temple became dilapidated it was handed over to the local people. Today a committee of local people runs the temple. All important days are celebrated with devotion.
