This temple is situated near Iringalakuda. Sree
Parvathy Devi, consecrated here is supposed to be the consort of Mahadeva at
the Avittathoor Mahadeva temple. On the day of the Peruvanam Pooram, the Goddess
would go to Mahadeva temple to get permission and pattum valayum (silk and
bangles) to go for the Pooram. On
returning the next day, a musical display will be in front of the Mahadeva
temple. The Goddess participates in the Pooram with her sisters, Poonilarkavu
Bhagavathy and Chalakudy Pisharikkal Bhagavathy. The temple is managed by a
committee of the residents.
