There was a serpent grove
about 500 m south of the Eramalloor Thottapally Sree Krishna Swamy Temple, known as Kattungal. In 1982, Saraswathy Vilasam Bhajana Madom was
established there. Apart from the serpent deities, the people who had come
there years ago and had been practising medicine worshipped Arabi Achan and
Natichi Amma. In June 2015, the Saraswathy temple was constructed and
opened for public worship.
