Kuttikulangara Balamurali
Parthasarathy Temple is located in Kongorpally, Kuttikulangara, within the
Ernakulam district. This temple is believed to be a subordinate shrine of the
Thirumuppam temple and has a history spanning approximately 300 years. The
original structure was destroyed during the invasion led by Tippu Sultan’s
army. It was later reconstructed in 1989. Initially dedicated to Balamurali,
the temple also enshrines Parthasarathy with equal significance following
astrological consultations. Additionally, deities such as Ganapathy, Devi,
Nagas, Brahmarakshas, and Ayyappan are consecrated as subordinate deities.
