This ancient temple at Chorode
Panchayath in Vatakara is one of the few temples consecrated in Kerala's royal stature (Raja Bhava). It was under the control of Kuttipuram Zamorin. Sunday
is considered to be of special significance for worshipping Lord Subrahmanya here.
There is a cave on the western side of the temple where the Acharya of the
temple is believed to be present. The temple has been renovated recently.
