Keezhillam Mahadeva Temple,
located in Keezhillam village along the Perumbavoor–Muvattupuzha road in
Ernakulam district, Kerala, is a revered shrine dedicated to Lord Siva.
Situated approximately 6 km from Perumbavoor, the temple enshrines a grand
Shivling, both in height and breadth, with the deity facing east. Worshipped as
Perumthrikovilappan, Lord Siva is believed to have been consecrated here by
Khara Maharishi. The temple features a circular Sreekovil with two Pradakshina
(Circumambulatory paths) within its sanctum, adding to its spiritual
significance.
