East Desom Sree Dharma Sastha
Temple is one of the most renowned and ancient Shastha temples in Central
Kerala. It is located at East Desham, on the northern banks of the Periyar
River in Aluva, Ernakulam district. The sanctum sanctorum features Dharma Sastha
consecrated alongside his consort Pushkala, both enshrined on the same
platform, and it faces the east. Notably, this temple stands apart as it has no subordinate deities, emphasizing the singular devotion to Dharma Sastha.
