Kamakshi Amman Kovil

History

This temple at Kochi was built by the 24 Mana Telungu Chettiyar community who came to Kerala from Tamil Nadu to do business. Around 65 years ago, the eldest member of this community here wanted to build a temple for their goddess at this place. He bought 27 cents of land, built the temple and performed the consecration in 2006.
