Sree Muduppullykavu Bhagavathi Temple, located in Paruthipully, Alathur, in the Palakkad district, is an ancient and sacred site of worship. The temple is dedicated to Bhagavathi as the primary deity, accompanied by Kalabhairavan, Muthappan, and Kuttichathan as subordinate deities, embodying a diverse and powerful spiritual presence. While the exact historical origins of the temple remain unclear, local residents recount its reconstruction in 1983 after the original structure was destroyed by fire.
